Where Not to Study

In a previous article, we looked at the best places to study.

Now we're going to take a look at study spots that are distraction-filled - and places you should definitely stay away from.

Places with dim lighting.
Dim lighting not only makes it more difficult to read, but it's also more likely to make you sleepy. Make sure to find a spot with good lighting.

Places too warm.
If you sit down in a warm library, you're definitely going to feel sleepy within 15 minutes. That's why most libraries always have an A/C blowing cold air. Avoid studying in an area that feels to warm. You'll end up just falling asleep.

Places with too many distractions.
If you're easily distracted, it's a good idea to find a secluded location where you can concentrate.  Use some ear plugs -- or listen to classical music to help you focus.   And find an environment where you can study comfortably.
