More than a place, more than just a name, Everest is YOU! If you have a dream of building a career and a future, Everest can help. From day one, experienced team members are there to help you navigate the admissions process, which includes financial planning, support, career guidance and help in finding the career of your dreams.

So, if you're interested in learning more about the field of health care, business, criminal justice, trades or IT, step right on up and take the Everest virtual tour. Programs and schedules vary by campus.

First Stop: The Everest experience is different, and you'll see why when you meet our Director of First Impressions. He or she will encourage you to view an iPod where you can get more information on the courses offered. Don't worry if you're not sure what courses you're interested in; they'll walk you through everything to make sure it's the best possible experience for you.

The Admissions Rep: Here, it's all about listening to what you'd like to do for a living, the things that are important to you, and what you envision yourself doing. And they'll help you choose a program that best suits your lifestyle.

Sound good so far?

Student Finance Planner: This is where you get to learn about all the payment options available. The goal is to show you that school can really be affordable. And they're determined to make it happen for you. Financial aid is available for those who qualify.

The great thing about Everest is that you get to study and learn under experienced and professional faculty members who've worked in the real world and are ready to pass on their valuable knowledge directly to you. You'll also get a chance to meet and work with Ambassador Students who've excelled in their academics and who can be a valuable resource on your road to success.

The Career Services team will introduce you to the library and resource center that can help you hone your resume and prepare for that all-important job interview. Career Services is the light at the end of the tunnel. Job interviewing techniques and practicing mock interviews can help make you ready on day one when you decide to launch a career.

Medical Assisting Lab: These instructors have a passion for teaching. You'll learn how to draw blood, give several types of injections and much more.

Medical Insurance Billing and Coding: Training allows students to develop up-to-date computer office and computer skills. And the small work team environments are great for one-on-one instruction as needed. You'll drill down on medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, which is necessary to properly bill patients. The goal is to help make you the best medical insurance billing coder possible.

Vocational Nursing: The vocational nursing helps you study fundamental principles and practices of nursing, anatomy and physiology, infection control, and much more. Students also have the opportunity to practice their skills in the clinical skills lab, leading to graduation from the nursing program within twelve-months. This is the kind of hands-on learning that delivers results. And by the time you graduate, you'll have developed solid critical thinking skills.

Paralegal: Got an itch to be a part of the dynamic and challenging legal profession? Learn by sitting in on actual mock trials. Learn the critical steps of authenticating documents. A number of students go on to become paralegals, legal assistants, police officers and investigators.

Criminal Investigation:  Learn your craft by processing a simulated crime scene. Write reports, collect and present the evidence, and learn the theoretical and scientific aspects of the investigative process. The program prepares graduates for entry-level career opportunities as private investigators, security officers, and crime scene technicians. Your instructors have real-world experience in criminal investigation.

Accounting:  The instructors encourage students to work in groups to complete challenging classroom assignments. Students get the inside scoop on what it is to be a public accountant. While many students have gone on to work for a business, others have actually used their knowledge and skills to start their own business.

Trades - Electrician:  Students will learn skills of electrical safety, tools and theory, the National Electrical Code (NEC), conduit bending, residential and commercial wiring, Programmable Logical Controllers (PLCs), and more. Graduates may be qualified for entry-level positions as commercial and residential electricians, preventive maintenance electricians, bench electricians and repair electricians. The industry is always on the lookout for qualified and well-trained candidates that can hit the ground running from day one on the job.

Residential Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (RHVAC):  Learn to wire thermostats, relays, fan motors. Get the basics and hook it all up and turn it on. You can take the knowledge you learn here directly into the field. On the refrigeration side, you'll learn all about temperatures and pressures that will prepare you to handle anything that comes along on the job.
