Everest College’s Tysons Corner Supports 4th Annual Food Drive

Everest College‘s Tysons Corner campus is in the holiday spirit. During the month of November 2011, staff, faculty and students at the Tysons Corner campus donated over 1,300 pounds of food for the 4th Annual Food Drive sponsored by the Capital Area Food Bank in Washington, D.C.

Everest’s staff and students shared an important goal to provide relief for families needing food during this year’s holiday season. The president of Everest College’s Tysons Corner campus, Sheri Delozier, encouraged staff and students to bring as much food as possible for this year’s donation.

With the help of the local Education Department and the Capital Area Food Bank, Everest is helping make this holiday season a little brighter for struggling families in the area.

The campus’s food drive was featured in the McLean Connection online newspaper.
