What’s Your Learning Style?

Discover your learning style and change the way you see the world-and possibly the way the world sees you.
Everyone learns in a different way. We’ve all developed learning skills since the moment we were born. Most people don’t realize that their learning style will remain mostly the same throughout their lifetime.
One of the most important things you can take away from this information is that your learning style has nothing to do with intelligence. But understanding how you learn best can help you get the most from your studies.
The three main learning styles are:
- Visual - This style is the most common for people who learn by seeing. Blackboards, written material and overhead projectors are a favorite.
- Auditory – This style benefits people who enjoy listening to a presentation or participating in a class discussion.
- Tactile – The tactile method works best for a person who likes using his or her hands to learn.
